Woman overhears man bragging about cheating before exposing him on Twitter
The hunt is on to identify a man overheard on a train gloating about cheating on his partner, after a female commuter exposed the conversation on Twitter.
Emily Shepherd, 23, was on a train to Manchester, UK, on Friday evening when she claims a man named Ben told his friends about an affair with someone else.
While riding the train, she tweeted: “If anyone has a boyfriend called Ben on the Bournemouth - Manchester train right now, he’s just told his friends he’s cheating on you. Dump his ass x”

The post was retweeted more than 25,000 times and liked more than 65,000 times in attempt to expose the mystery man.
While a barrage of people jumped to praise Ms Shepherd for outing the cheater, some have labelled the commuter a “snake” or “grass” - British slang for ratting on someone for their misdeeds.
One tweeted: “Whatever happened to privacy and secrecy or just minding your own business?”
Another said the man in question could have made up the conquest to try and impress his friend and said she was wrong to accuse this man without “proof”.
Others were concerned for the innocent Bens who travel on that line.
“50 Bens just got dumped,” one wrote.
Another added: "Several innocent Bens ended up as collateral damage."
No one likes a grass emily. Grow up

I hope there wasn't more than one ben on that train or they are in for an unfair interrogation when they get home

I think you've done the right thing. It's people like Ben that give the rest of us guys a bad name 😒

Two days after the tweet, Ms Shepherd updated those following her crusade, saying "Ben" has was to be identified.
"For those asking: Ben is yet to be found, I've had several messages but nothing yet," she tweeted on Sunday.
'I'm now on the Manchester - Bournemouth train and no sign yet... thanks to everyone calling me a grass and a snake, you're all great."
