Faces of the victims of Texas church mass shooting

The first victims, many of whom are children, shot in the Texas church massacre have been identified, with ages of those killed ranging from five to 72.

At least 26 people have died and dozens others injured as alleged gunman Devin Patrick Kelley opened fire at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs in Wilson County on Sunday.

The youngest daughter of the church's Pastor Frank Pomeroy was the first to be confirmed dead.

Annabelle Pomeroy, 14, was at Sunday's service in the absence of her parents who were out of town.

Six-year-old Rylan Ward was one of the youngest victims and suffered four gunshot wounds, SBG reported.

He is now in surgery in a battle to save his young life.

He was at the service with his stepmother Joann Ward and three sisters.

Emily Ward, eight, was shot and remains in surgery.

Her nine-year-old sister Rihanna, pictured on Emily's left, was uninjured in the shooting.

The third sister, Brooke, six, is missing alongside her mother.
