Young girl dragged along road by bus after foot gets stuck in doors
A mother has been left shaken after her four-year-old daughter got her leg trapped in the automatic door of a bus and was dragged along the road for several metres.
CCTV footage shows the girl being dragged down the road for about 20 metres in Russia.
The mother and girl are seen approaching the automatic doors at the back end of the bus.
The mother then goes to put her daughter on the bus first but the doors begin to shut, trapping the girl's leg.
The bus driver then starts to drive away with the girl slipping from her mother's hands and falling to the ground.
The video shows the driver continue down to an intersection and ready to make a turn while the mother chases after her daughter.
A bystander notices what's happening and runs along the side of the bus waving what looks like a T-shirt or rag in the driver's mirror, signalling him to stop.
The driver comes to a halt and several bystanders rush to the girl's aid.
It's understood the Russian girl was not seriously injured and suffered scratches and bad bruising.
The mother and daughter have not been named.
