Grandmother 'gobsmacked' by claims Cassie Sainsbury worked as a Penrith prostitute
The grandmother of accused Aussie drug mule Cassie Sainsbury's fiancé says she is shocked by allegations she worked as a prostitute.
Shocking new claims emerged about Sainsbury’s past as her fiancé Scott Broadbridge fled Colombia touching down in Los Angeles on Monday.
It’s reported the 22-year-old had worked as a fly-in-fly-out employee for Club 220 in Penrith.
Broadbridge’s grandmother in Adelaide was lost for words by the allegations.
“I was gobsmacked with what I heard last night,” she said.
Seven News spoke with Broadbridge in LA but he wouldn’t comment on allegations his partner was employed as a sex worker.
NSW Police were at Club 220 on Monday.
A madame at the venue said she wasn’t aware if Sainsbury had worked at the brothel.
“Working girls they come and go, okay?” she said.
“So whatever occurred last year, I don’t know.”
