Grandmother 'gobsmacked' by claims Cassie Sainsbury worked as a Penrith prostitute

The grandmother of accused Aussie drug mule Cassie Sainsbury's fiancé says she is shocked by allegations she worked as a prostitute.

Shocking new claims emerged about Sainsbury’s past as her fiancé Scott Broadbridge fled Colombia touching down in Los Angeles on Monday.

It’s reported the 22-year-old had worked as a fly-in-fly-out employee for Club 220 in Penrith.

Broadbridge’s grandmother in Adelaide was lost for words by the allegations.

“I was gobsmacked with what I heard last night,” she said.

Seven News spoke with Broadbridge in LA but he wouldn’t comment on allegations his partner was employed as a sex worker.

NSW Police were at Club 220 on Monday.

A madame at the venue said she wasn’t aware if Sainsbury had worked at the brothel.

“Working girls they come and go, okay?” she said.

“So whatever occurred last year, I don’t know.”
