Armed youths terrorise staff in Melbourne Woolworths robbery
A group of armed youths threatened Woolworths staff and fled with cash and cigarettes in a terrifying hold up in Melbourne last night.
Four youths, three armed with knives, robbed the Oakleigh South supermarket at 8:30pm on Wednesday.
Horrified witnesses urged others not to enter the store as the thugs threatened staff and escaped with their stash and fled in a white car.
No one was injured and the suspects are still on the run.
Victoria Police are investigating whether this hold up is linked to another three robberies that took place in supermarkets across Melbourne's south-east.
