'Check out her sex tape': Trump appeared in Playboy softcore porn
When republican presidential nominee Donald Trump claimed former Miss Universe Alicia Machado had a “sex tape” some tried and failed to find evidence.
What reporters did find was that Trump himself had made an appearance in a softporn film.
Buzzfeed claimed Trump featured in a softcore Playboy classic called ‘Centerfold’ starring the Bernaola Twins.
The Republican presidential nominee played a passing role in which he was shown spraying champagne onto a car.
He didn't feature in any of the film’s racier scenes but was listed on the IMDB credits as playing “himself”.
In 1990, Trump also appeared alongside former Playboy bunny Brandi Brandt, who in 2014 was jailed for cocaine trafficking.
Trump has previously shared his thoughts on Hugh Hefner saying, “Hefner really understood the art of using mass media, better than anybody else of his generation”.

He described Playboy as an “amazing brand”.
Trump has refused to drop his invective against former Miss Universe Alicia Machado, after he criticized her for gaining weight after she won the crown in 1996.
During the first presidential debate earlier this week, Democrat Hillary Clinton brought up Trump’s weight-shaming comments about Machado, who was Miss Venezuela when Trump took over the Miss Universe beauty pageant in 1996.
Machado, now a well-known actress in Latin America, says Trump once called her “fat,” “ugly” and “Miss Piggy,” among other things.
In tweets posted a little after 5 am (local time) on Friday, Trump brought up reports indicating that Machado was once accused of driving a getaway car from a murder scene in Venezuela.
"Did Crooked Hillary help disgusting (check out sex tape and past) Alicia M become a US citizen so she could use her in the debate?" Trump said on Twitter.
He did not elaborate on his allegations beyond saying that the Clinton campaign was unaware of the beauty queen's past and had been "duped" by her.
Earlier this week, CNN’s Anderson Cooper asked Machado, who was never charged, about the allegation.
She admitted to not being a “saint girl” but said the real issue at hand was Trump’s attempt to “destroy” her self-esteem.
Machado responded to Trump later on Friday, criticising him for false statements and a “campaign of hate”.
Trump also tweeted angrily at the media from about 10 pm. Thursday through about 9 am. Friday.
He railed against reports citing anonymous Trump campaign “sources,” which the mogul claimed were fabricated.
He did not name the article he was complaining about, but earlier this week he slammed an NBC News story which reported his children were unhappy with his campaign.
Other recent reports have cited anonymous sources who admitted that Trump performed poorly during his Monday debate with Clinton.
Trump’s furious, late-night Twitter flurries were a prominent feature of the Republican primaries, but the celebrity businessman had been more disciplined in recent weeks.
Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta, mocked Trump for getting “up in the middle of the night” and reaching for his phone.
Clinton's campaign said in a Twitter post under the candidate's name that, "This is ... unhinged, even for Trump."
"When something gets under Donald's thin skin, he lashes out and can't let go. This is dangerous for a president," another post said, praising Machado for standing up to Trump.
Politico reported that Machado has starred in racy reality TV programs and posed naked for Playboy's Mexican version, but said media outlets have found no evidence that she has starred in pornographic films.
Machado, a US citizen, dismissed the attacks with a message on Instagram, calling them "cheap lies" from a man intent on defaming her.
"By way of his hate campaign, the Republican candidate insists on discrediting and demoralizing a woman, which is clearly one of his most frightening characteristics," she wrote in her post in Spanish, next to a photo of herself draped in an American flag.
