NT cops wheel out the crocs to snap up running man challenge

That's it. Competition over. The Northern Territory police win the worldwide viral police Running Man challenge.

Why? Because they're the only police force yet to bring an enormous (and a little) crocodile to the party.

The Territorian cops have followed up their emotional appeal to be included in the growing law-enforcement dance off by delivering in a big way.

A video posted to the police force's official Facebook page on Friday shows a troupe of dancing officers, two divers, an enormous crocodile (and a baby crocodile) as well as a seqway scooter.

Meanwhile in Canberra, the Australian Federal Police have brought in the bomb squad to help with their explosive dance moves.

The AFP officers on Friday revealed their dance moves on the banks of Lake Burley Griffin with Parliament House in the background.

In the space of just a few days, a tongue in cheek challenge by New Zealand Police Recruitment has become an international sensation, drawing in police, emergency services and athletes from as far away as New York and Scotland.

"We catch people on the run every day, this was a new [running man challenge] for our team."

"Are you up for it Victoria Police, NSW Police Force, Western Australia Police, Queensland Police Service, South Australia Police, ACT Policing, Tasmania Police, LAPD Headquarters, Isles of Scilly Police and NYPD?", they wrote on their Facebook page.
