'I don't think she knows she's a cow': Beryl the Brahman thinks she is human and is taking the internet by storm
Beryl the cow is like no other.
She enjoys bushwalks with the family, cuddling with the dogs and lounging around in her owner's North Queensland family room.
The cheeky Brahman has become a social media sensation after her owners Sally and Jake Webster created the Beryl the Brahman Facebook page that has amassed more than 2,200 followers.
The Websters are commercial cattle breeders and own a 60,000 acre station located in Mt Little, 90 kilometers west of Georgetown, Queensland.
Sally told Yahoo7 they took in Beryl when she was just two days old after her mother wasn't able to take care of her.
"Ever since we had her she fell in life with us," Sally said.
"She is part of the family and fit in straight away she did anything and everything out of the ordinary."
Sally said she and her husband have raised many Brahmans, but haven't met one who has such a cheeky personality, setting her apart from most cows.
"I don't think she knows she's a cow," Sally said.
"She is very affectionate and loving and loves a tummy rub.
"She has a good relationship with the dogs and when they were younger they always cuddled together and drank milk out of the same bowl."
Beryl is almost nine months old and Sally said the once "placid" cow is becoming more mischievous.
"I came back from Cairns recently to find she had snuck into the lounge room and was just sitting there chewing the carpet," Sally said.
"It was like she was saying 'here I am, I'm ready to watch another DVD.'"
Not only does this Brahman have a personality that sets her apart from most cows, she has an incredibly hearty appetite.
"She loves bananas, mangoes and can't go past a plain-salted crisp," Sally said.
The Webster family have big plans for Beryl and are currently trying to track down a cart to take the hilarious cow to sell ice-cream to children at local camp drafts.
