'Road rager' filmed bashing side of car during traffic jam north of Brisbane
Terrified Queensland drivers have witnessed a vicious road rage incident unfolding before them on a popular highway.
A driver was heading from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane when the dramatic incident unfolded on the Bruce Highway near Caboolture right in front of their eyes.
Tempers flared as traffic was reduced to a standstill due to an earlier crash on the south bound lane.
A man appears to be yelling and screaming while violently bashing the side of a stationary vehicle on the busy stretch of road.
"Road rage, look at that,” one witness can be heard saying on the tape.
“He’s punchin’, he’s punchin’, oh my goodness he’s punching!”
“Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness,” she can be heard screaming during the violent incident.
Once the vehicle begins to slowly move forward the undeterred ‘rager’ appears to follow the vehicle down the highway, chasing behind the car, narrowly avoiding being run over himself.
The footage was captured by a terrified passerby, who filmed the entire attack on his mobile phone.
Road rage incidents appear to be on the rise with shocking attacks being regularly captured on dash cams.
