Compassionate cop lays with injured boy in middle of road after accident
A heart-warming video of a police officer comforting a small boy in the middle of a road after he was run over by a car has been shared round the globe.
The clip, which was shared to LiveLeak, was shot after the incident in Sao Paulo at the weekend
G1 Globo reports the boy was hit by a vehicle as he chased his pet dog across a busy road.
The police officer was reportedly close to the scene when the accident occurred. He can be seen laying down on the road next to the boy reassuring him until an ambulance arrives.
The officer reportedly said: "We'll take you for a nice ride in our car."
The boy was later released from hospital. It's not known if the got the ride in the police car.
