'Lucky to be alive': Truck collides with train in Czech Republic
A Polish man is lucky to be alive after the trailer of his truck was taken out by a train at a level-crossing while the lights were red.
This unbelievable video was captured in the Czech Republic seconds before the almighty crash and it shows the aftermath of the near deadly accident.
It happened on Friday and shows the truck driver turning left at the junction with the level crossing in the city of Frydek-Mistek.
The driver of the truck does not look like he attempts to slow down for the coming train.
Seconds later the train speeds through the back of the truck, disconnecting the trailer from the truck itself, which actually saves the life of the driver.
Remarkably none of the 80 train passengers were injured but the truck driver was slightly Injured.
Police are now investigating the incident and are reportedly questioning the truck driver to try and work out why he drove through the level crossing.
