Meet Adler: The world's tiniest barista

This is Adler. He’s three.

Adler runs a coffee machine better than you do.

It helps that his mum and dad, Jenny and Andrew Webb, are coffee shop owners but in just three years this bite-sized barista has learned to knock out a better cappuccino than most of us every will.

He is also a lot cuter than most of the baristas we run into on our treks to work too.

“It’s just been a natural progression as he’s grown to copy me and be interested in what I’m doing,” Andrew told Bean Hunter.

“When he started crawling I caught him grabbing a coffee bean on the ground and sticking it in his mouth. I pulled it out, but whenever I would open a bag of coffee he would come over and grab one bean out, and chew it up, or now if I have a coffee he always comes over for “just a little taste.”

Adler coffee fixation began as he watched his dad working on his techniques before opening his own shop, Brindle Coffee.

When some kids want a hammer or a drill just like dad’s, Adler aspires to instead to running the coffee machine like a pro.

And instead of wondering if his boy will be star athlete or doctor, Andrew is looking forward to claiming to be the father of the world’s best barista.
