Ready to retire after scooping $30 million scoop
A mystery western Sydney lotto winner says he is ready to retire early after scooping last night's entire $30 million Oz Lotto Draw.
The 40-something man, who wishes to remain anonymous, says he was stunned to discover he had won such a large amount.
"I’ve been playing Oz Lotto since it began 20 years ago and the most I’ve ever won is about $70," he said.
“I checked my ticket at home today and when I saw that I had all the winning numbers, I started to shake.
“Now that you’ve confirmed that I’ve won $30 million, I’m shaking even more.
"I think I'll buy a couple of homes. I’ll share my prize with family and early retirement is definitely on the cards."
The winning ticket was purchased from Winston Hills Newsagency. It was the only division one winning entry in last night’s $30 million Oz Lotto draw.
The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1048 on 18 March 2014 were 4, 19, 24, 33, 30, 2 and 38. The supplementary numbers were 20 and 3.
