Veronicas planning special tour

Comeback queens the Veronicas promise fans a very special, interactive tour when they play *Perth * in February.

Twins * Jessica *and *Lisa Origliasso *, currently touring the US with white-hot Aussie boy band 5 Seconds of Summer, are "scheming" for the five-date capital-city tour starting at the *Perth Concert Hall *.

"It's not going to be anything that's ever been done a great deal on the scale that we're doing it," Jessica told _ AAA _.

"We want to make it a really special experience for the fans, for anyone who wants to come and see the show."

Next year's tour is part of the Veronicas' "rebirth", according to Jessica, which began in earnest when their single You Ruin Me topped Australian charts in September.

"It didn't even feel real," she said. "We were overwhelmed. We were with our family and we hugged a lot."

Only the Brisbane-raised duo's second ARIA No. 1, You Ruin Me features on the Veronicas' self-titled album, their third and first since 2007, released tomorrow.

While Jessica said their epic Revenge is Sweeter world tour of 2008-09 left them burnt out, the travel junkie added she wouldn't miss out on seeing the world this time around.

"You're young, you get tired, you just want to sleep in your hotel room," she said. "Whereas now I would love to go out and visit different museums, cathedrals, temples, restaurants and if I'm tired then, oh well, f… it - too bad if I'm tired."

Tickets for the Veronicas' Perth concert on February 12 go on sale next week. SIMON COLLINS
