Was the plane 'note war' a hoax?
The man behind the plane "note fight" has appeared to show the whole event was a hoax.
Posting on Twitter, TV producer Elan Gale said he would reveal more details about the mystery woman "Diane" in seat 7A.
"So many questions unanswered about Diane. In 15 minutes I will post the photo and hopefully we can resolve all this," he wrote on Twitter.
Shortly after, he posted this:
The whole "incident" started when Gale sent a note along with a wine to the woman known as Diane in seat 7a on a US Airways flight.
Diane had been complaining because their flight was delayed on Thanksgiving and she needed to be with her family, with Gale tweeting the events.
At one point, it seems Gale had enough and sent her this note with the wine:
What followed was a series of increasingly aggressive notes passed between the two.
But was it real? Or did Gale make the whole thing up?
