Cyclist hurt after hitting wire
A 20-year-old cyclist was badly injured when he hit a metal cable holding up a power pole in Camillo last night.
The crash happened at the intersection of Lake Road and Baxendale Way about 8.30pm.
A police spokesman said the man’s bicycle had a motor attached to it.
He said it appeared he was riding along the footpath when he hit the cable.
He was taken to Armadale Hospital and then transferred to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.
