Finally, some hope for victims of Autism and their long-suffering families. Here in Australia a school on the Gold Coast is making enormous steps forward and transforming the lives of children with Autism.

Children like Max, the son of former dual international football star Mat Rogers and his ex-model wife Chloe Maxwell. Mat Rogers was fearless on the footy field, but in this interview with Sunday Night he can’t hold back his emotions when he describes the moment he realised his son had Autism. Three years on from that diagnosis, Max is now a bright, bubbly and mischievous little boy in a mainstream school, and Chloe and Mat are overjoyed.

We also meet Carly, the remarkable Canadian teenager experts believe may hold the key that will unlock the secrets of Autism. Carly, who has a severe form of the disorder, underwent a similar radical treatment to Max - now the insights she’s giving into the workings of the Autistic brain have experts on the edge of a breakthrough.
