Join Sunday Night reporter Tim Noonan and researcher Asha de Vos on a scientific expedition off the coast of Sri Lanka where a kingdom of rare thirty-metre blue whales are located.

Fishing was banned in the area during Sri Lanka's thirty-year civil war allowing the animals to flourish. But, since coming out of war, the threat of an unregulated whale watching industry has emerged.

Asha's research aims to learn more about the rare creatures and takes us along for the ride with stunning vision and images.
