Albino jibe sparks 12-man brawl at Merrylands birthday party
CCTV has captured a wild fight which ended a 50-year-old's birthday party at a Merrylands pub over the weekend.
Up to 12 men were involved, with two knocked unconscious and one remains in a serious condition.
Police are still hunting for some of those involved.
The two men that appear to have started the fight had never met before, with a sickening blow sparking an all out brawl.
"Again we see these iditos actually causing a massive amount of grief in the community," Scott Webber from the Police Association said.
The frenzy continued for more than four minutes.
Police arrived on the scene to try and calm the raging mob with a female officer left with no other option than to pepper spray one man.
However, it blew back in her face.
"She had secondary contamination from capiscum spray but again this shouldn't be happening," Mr Webber said.
Pauliasi Mapa remains in hospital with serious head and face injuries.
His family says the fight was sparked by a disparaging comment made about his relative John - who is albino.
Witnesses have told 7 News that the brawl was so violent and out of control that if police hadn't arrived when they did, someone almost certainly would've been killed
