Pedestrian fatally struck north of Brisbane
A Queensland pedestrian has been pronounced dead after a car struck him in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Initial investigations indicated that 37-year-old Rothwell man proceeded through the intersection of Anzac Avenue and Nathan Road in Kippa Ring when he was fatally hit.
The 32-year-old male driver remained at the scene and the Forensic Crash Unit is now investigating the horrific accident.
