Siege situation decalred in Queensland, police negotiators on scene

A siege situation was declared in Caboolture in Queensland where police negotiators and dog squad were attending the scene.

Around 6.15am local police were called to an address in McMillan Street, Caboolture, following reports of a man causing a disturbance at a residence.

The man was alone inside the home and refused to come out, however police have since taken him into custody.

An exclusion zone was declared at 8:06am and police had established an exclusion zone which encompasses Hodgkin, O’Neill, McMillan and Davison streets.

Police negotiators has also at the scene which has since been declared over.
