Queensland Police clearly aren't fans of Nickelback.

Their ever-witty media department has created a hilarious meme ahead of the Canadian rock groups concert at Brisbane arena this evening.

The poster tells concert goers to "BOLO" or "Be On The Lookout" for the four-man band who are 'wanted' for crimes against music.

“Police are on the lookout for these men who are believed to be impersonating musicians around Boondall this evening,” a post on the QPS Facebook page reads.

“Avoid the area. It may be hazardous to your hearing and street cred.”

Nickelback is on a national tour following the release of its eighth studio album "No Fixed Address."

Despite selling 50 million albums since they formed in 1985, the band is often the centre of many music jokes.

A campaign was launched last year to try and stop the band from performing in London.
