Photographs of a hitchhiking kangaroo on the road to Mt. Buller in Victoria have gone viral online.
The images, posted to Reddit on Thursday, show the giant roo standing on the side of the road starting down drivers as they pass.
“Saw this reasonable size roo staring down every car on the way,” blogger Brotary captioned the photos.
Other Reddit users saw the funny side, suggesting it was “just waiting to cross the road”.
“Scrawny but still towering over most humans... but that looks like a kangaroo that got into a gym-bro's pill bag,' another user wrote.
It’s not known whether the roo eventually managed to hop a ride.
