US man who wants rape legalised is chased out of Canadian bar

An American ‘pick-up artist’ who believes that rape should be legalised, has been chased out of a Canadian bar by a group of angry women.

Both abuse and beer was hurled at Daryush Valizadeh, better known as Roosh V, after he approached a group of women at a bar in Montreal, The Metro reports.

Video of the incident shows a woman shouting: "This is Roosh V, this is the guy who says rape should be legal.”

"How dare you f-----g come to Canada?" another woman says, while a man tells Valizadeh to "get the f—k out".

Valizadeh is then seen giving the V sign to the camera as he is chased down the street by the angry group.

The 35-year-old US writer and minor celebrity wrote back in February that rape should be legalised if it takes place on private property.

"I thought about this problem and am sure I have the solution: make rape legal if done on private property. I propose that we make the violent taking of a woman not punishable by law when done off public grounds," he wrote.

He has also previously stated that women should be treated "like disposable razors".

The post caused public outcry and led more than 40,000 people to sign a petition protesting for Valizadeh to be banned from entering Canada for a speaking tour.

However Valizadeh who is not shy of controversy, was happy to take to twitter upon his arrival in Montreal.

"Hey Montreal ladies, I'm available for dates tonight starting at 10pm. Beer is on me," he tweeted.

He took to social media again after the heated incident to give his own brazen account of what had occurred.

Valizadeh said he had reported the incident to police.
