Corby's parole book handed over to charity

Schapelle Corby has reportedly donated her parole booklet to a child-rescue charity run by Adam Whittington, the man who went to a Lebanese prison with a 60 Minutes crew after a botched attempt to rescue two Aussie kids.

News Corp reports Mr Whittington launched the Australian are of Project Rescue Children on the Gold Coast on Saturday.

He said Ms Corby became aware of his latest project through John McLeod who helped orchestrate her secretive exit from Brisbane airport last Sunday.

Mr Whittington was thankful for Corby’s donation, which appears to contain handwritten entries of her entire parole history.

“When she left Bali, she had a set of clothes and this book,” Mr McLeod told News Corp.

Mr McLeod declined to talk about the operation. “It’s over for me, but it’s not over yet,” he said.

Mr Whittington said the group was working with police in Cambodia to battle the child-sex trade.

While in Australia the team was posing as children online with 12 active pedophiles from the Gold Coast with the plan to pass information to police.
