Perth residents witness spectacular light show as thunderstorm hits
As Mother Nature put on a spectacular light show across Perth on Sunday afternoon, residents captured the beauty of the vicious storm.
A severe weather warning was issued for parts of Western Australia as residents were told to brace for damaging winds, heavy rain, and big hail stones on Sunday.
The storm brought heavy rain and winds up to 80km/h as a severe thunderstorm swept the north and east parts of city. In Jandakot 14mm of rain was observed.

Footage shows a lightning bolt giving birds a fright, and setting several palm trees on fire in Naranda, as storms intensified through the day.
The severe thunderstorm warning was cancelled by 9pm.
Heavy rain and wind gusts of up to 125km/h are also expected to hit parts of northern and central New South Wales today, the Bureau warned.
