Elderly woman trapped under car for up to 24 hours before being found
An elderly woman has been rescued by emergency services after she was pinned underneath a car for up to 24 hours on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
Police said the woman, aged in her 70s, was trapped under the vehicle on Yeates Road in Beerwah.
Paramedics were called to the scene just after 2.30pm on Thursday and transported her to Nambour Hospital.
A spokesperson from the hospital said the woman was responsive and able to sit up and talk, but said she will be staying overnight for observation.
