Armed man taken into custody after siege near Brisbane
An armed man has been taken into custody after a siege with police near a Brisbane prison.
The man entered the food processing plant, on Grindle Road at Wacol, at 10pm last night and threatened staff with a knife.
Officers spent several hours negotiating with him and were able to secure the release of the staff members before the man locked himself inside the building.
Police took the man into custody after several hours of negotiation.
It is believed the man is a former employee of the business.
There are no reports of injuries.
