NSW motorcyclist dies in truck smash

A motorcyclist has died after crashing into the back of a cement truck.

The accident happened just before 9am on Saturday at the intersection of Jedda Road and Whyalla Place in Prestons in southwest Sydney.

A 29-year-old man riding a motorcycle reportedly hit the back of a small cement truck, which had stopped to turn into a factory site.

Paramedics were unable to revive the motorcyclist, who died at the scene.

The driver of the truck, a 44-year-old man who was uninjured, was taken to Liverpool Hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.
