Woman captures alleged attacker on phone

Quick thinking by a woman may help South Australian police catch a man she says indecently assaulted her on Saturday.

The woman was waiting at bus stop 51, outside Parabanks Shopping Centre on Commercial Rd at Salisbury, when the man approached her at around 6pm.

Police say the man made suggestive comments at the woman, and then grabbed her and indecently assaulted her.

She managed to break free, and boarded a bus that stopped.

Once on board, she managed to take a picture of the alleged attacker on her phone as the bus was driving off.

She then reported the incident to police.

The man is described as being of African in appearance, about 170cm tall, of stocky build with short, black curly hair.

At the time he was wearing a grey v-neck jumper, dark green shorts and blue and white sneakers.

Police are asking anyone with further information on the incident to contact BankSA Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or go to their website.
