Police confirm discovery of shoe that belonged to Tiahleigh Palmer

Police have confirmed they have found a shoe that belonged to Tiahleigh Palmer.

The 12-year-old Queensland girl’s body was discovered on the banks of Pimpama River on the northern Gold Coast in early November.

A Queensland police spokesman said they were following a number of positive leads in relation to the homicide investigation.

State Emergency Service crews were searching Pimpama Creek, where the shoe was located last Sunday.

They hoped to locate more items.

Tiahleigh was last seen being dropped off by her carer at Marsden State High School in Logan just after 8am on October 30.
