Alcoholic mum avoids jail after naked Twister and sex with daughter's friends

An alcoholic mother has avoided jail time after joining her 15-year-old daughter and her friends in a naked Twister party, and having sex with two of the teenage boys.

Rachel Lehnardt, 36, allowed her teen daughter and friends to smoke marijuana and drink alcohol before joining them in a game of naked Twister in her home in the US State of Georgia, in April last year.

According to a Columbia County Sheriff's Office report, Lenhardt's teen daughter texted her mother asking if she could bring friends over "to party", to which she replied, “Come on, let’s party.”

Lehnardt also confessed to having sex with an 18-year-old friend of her daughter in the bathroom while the others continued to play Twister.

According to the police report Lehnardt was still "horny" so she used sex toys to masturbate in front of the party guests in the living room before passing out in her bed.

Lehnardt said she woke up to find a 16-year-old male friend of her daughter’s having sex with her.

Police allege the mother of five sought help from Alcoholics Anonymous days after the party, prompting her sponsor Heidi Amirault to inform police.

Lehnardt lost custody of her five children when her ex-husband’s parents learned of the party.

In a statement Lehnardt’s lawyer Shawn Hammond issued to the court, the former Mormon Sunday school teacher had begun drinking after her split from her ex-husband James in 2014, who suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder after returning from Iraq.

“Mrs Lehnardt acknowledges that due to recent alcohol abuse she engaged in several acts of inappropriate conduct,” the statement said.

“Although, many of the allegations are exaggerated, she is extremely remorseful for what she allowed to occur in her presence and is obtaining professional and pastoral counseling to ensure that this conduct is never repeated.

"She is hopeful that her children, members of her faith and others will learn from her poor example as to just how easy it is for people to exercise such extremely poor judgment while intoxicated,” Mr Hammond told the court.

Lehnardt charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. She has been sentenced to 12 months probation and a $100 fine for each count, totaling six years probation and $600 in fines.

The mother must also comply with mandatory drug and alcohol testing and treatment.

Police Captain Steve Morris told the Daily News the boy was not facing charges because "there is no evidence of rape" since Lehnardt "refuses to discuss the case".

“Just when you think you’ve seen everything or heard everything, we find that we haven’t,” Captain Morris said.
