Woolworths shopper in hysterics over spicy Scott Morrison prank: 'Priceless'

A shopper had to do a double take after making a surprise discovery in the spice aisle at his local Woolworths store this week.

While searching for bay leaves at Woolworths Kyneton on Wednesday, the Victorian man noticed a surprising detail among the spice jars.

To the untrained eye, the shelf looks like any other you would see at Woolies - spice jars arranged neatly alongside one another, with single letters to help customers easily find what they need.

However on closer inspection, you can see that the alphabetised spice jars on the shelf have been rearranged to spell out a message to, presumably, Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

“Morrison is a groin stain,” reads the perfectly arranged line of spice jars on the shelf.

'Made me snort with laughter'

Unsurprisingly, the Woolworths customer who witnessed the sneaky prank was so impressed he decided to share it with the world on Facebook.

“Someone had fun at Kyneton Woolies today... made me snort with laughter as I was looking for my bay leaves!” wrote the amused shopper.

Alongside the man’s post, he shared a photo of the prankster’s handiwork – a not-so-subtle message to ScoMo.

Woolworths shoppers tickled by hilarious prank

Dozens of Woolworths customers were suitably tickled by the prank, with comments claiming it was “brilliant”, “absolutely hilarious” and “fantastic”.

“Priceless!” commented one shopper.

“A lot of creative energy - for a smile,” wrote a second.

The shopper who witnessed the prank responded: “I know! I would love to have seen them do it!”

Others questioned whether the man who shared the prank had done it himself.

One woman asked: "Was that 'someone' you?"

But the shopper said he was "too cowardly" to pull off a cheeky prank such as this one.

With the Federal Election upon us, Scott Morrison would be disappointed to see that he won't be getting a vote from at least one Kyneton resident. Unless, of course, there's an unrelated person by the name Morrison who's earned the ire of a local prankster.
