Woolworths announces new 'Fix-ems' collectible range with Disney
Woolworths has revealed it will be launching a new range of colourful collectibles in another partnership with Disney.
From Wednesday July 6, shoppers will be able to collect 36 Fix-ems – reusable woven patches that can stick to most surfaces or be ironed onto some fabrics for a longer-lasting decoration.
The new range features characters from the Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars franchises, including Minnie and Mickey Mouse, Lightning McQueen, Dory, Spider-Man, Groot and Darth Vader.
Like previous collectibles, shoppers will receive one Fix-em with every $30 spent, plus the opportunity to collect more with participating products.
New Woolworths range environmentally conscious
Fix-ems are made from at least 80 per cent recycled material and are certified by Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA) as environmentally preferable, Woolworths said in a statement.
The company's Chief Marketing Officer Andrew Hicks said while Fix-ems are reusable, they can also be recycled in store if they’re no longer wanted.
“We remain committed to growing a greener future, which is why Fix-ems are made from at least 80 per cent recycled materials and they can be recycled in any Woolworths store thanks to our partnership with Save Our Soles,” he said.

The latest Disney range comes after previous success with the Disney+ Ooshies range.
Meagan Sanders, VP & GM, Consumer Products of The Walt Disney Company Australia and New Zealand, added she was excited to see how Aussies will use their Fix-ems.
“Fans will stick-em, create-em, wear-em and reuse-em in so many creative ways – from personalising jackets and sneakers, to lending some flair to their bags and bike helmets – the possibilities are endless.”
Fix-ems can be collected from both in-store and online purchases.
