Woman finds threatening note left on her car when leaving work

A woman has returned to her car to find a threatening note left on her windscreen in a car park in western NSW.

The woman posted on a Dubbo community Facebook page a picture of the note on a torn piece of paper written by a person she describes as “petty”.

“Next time you double park I’ll slash your tyres,” the note read.

The woman took to Facebook to explain why she had to park slightly over the line in the car park.

“Thumbs down to the petty person who put this on my car today,” she said.

“Pity you didn’t take the time to notice I was parked in company staff parking.

“Just to be clear I was over, our staff cars need to park over a bit because the walkway hand rail is bent over stopping the first car from opening their door.

“But this does not [affect] anyone else because [they’re] allocated spots.

“I hope you were able to get through the rest of the day without any real life problems.”

People jumped to the defence of the woman and criticised the mysterious note writer.

“Get a life,” one said.

“Bloody hell there is more to worry [about] than that.

“People need seriously something to occupy the brain, then they won’t have time to write stupid notes and agro about nothing.”

One dubbed the note writer a “moron” while another called the act “terrible”.

“I honestly think they just were having a bad day,” another said.

“Can the person own up so we can send you something to brighten your day.”

One however came to the defence of the person who left the note, saying drivers in Dubbo could be frustrating when it came to parking.

“We have lived in most states of Australia and travelled most of the country. I have never seen people so bad at driving and parking anywhere as what we have seen here since moving to Dubbo,” he wrote.
