Odell Beckham Jr. said he has accepted the fact that he’s not going to be seeing the ball as much as he had been used to. So give credit for Beckham finding other ways to contribute — while maintaining his signature swag.
Beckham actually had a pass come his direction Sunday against the Washington Football Team on a second-quarter play, as Baker Mayfield escaped pressure but didn’t put the ball in a good spot for Beckham to catch it.
That’s when Beckham turned from receiver to defensive back.
Heck of a play. The finger wag at the end made it next level.
Beckham does a heck of a defensive back impression, right down to the post-play celebration. Perhaps some double duty is in order going forward.
