Warning issued over popular dummies due to strangulation fears

A warning has been issued over a popular dummy sold across Australia over fears of strangulation.

Customers who have purchased BIBS Dummies, manufactured by Chloe Layla and Co, are required to seek instructions for the usage of the product, which weren’t included on the product’s packaging.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has said a cord or ribbon attached to the dummy may pose as a strangulation hazard without the correct warning notice or hygienic care instructions included.

The ACCC said dummies should be inspected for damage or weakness before use.

Concerned customers should contact admin@chloelayla.com.au.

If they purchased BIBS dummies from Chloe Layla and Co they should ask for the warning label and direction information about using BIBS dummies to be sent out to them.
