Mystery sparked by 'unusual items' found on beach
Police are worried somebody may be missing following the discovery of items including a bible at Alkimos Beach, north of Perth.
The belongings were found on Friday close to the water by somebody walking along the sand.
They include a red leather New Testament bible, a black puffer vest, khaki pants and a pink rose.
Police say they are unusual items to be left at a beach.
The police helicopter has searched the beach and ocean, but there has been no sign of anybody.
