Police arrest man after releasing bizarre footage of milk bar robbery

Police have arrested a man over a bizarre milk bar robbery in Melbourne that was caught on the store's CCTV.

Security vision shows two bumbling bandits enter the store at West Footscray before they steal the entire cash register.

The attendant locked herself in a back room as one of the thieves helped the other fix up his ski mask.

The other man was not covering his face.

But the unmasked robber fails to catch the till and slams into the ground.

After releasing the security vision on Friday, police managed to track down one of the alleged robbers.

He's been charged with armed robbery, possessing a drug of dependence and handling stolen goods.

He'll appear in court Saturday while the other man remains on the run.
