Cheese recalled over fears of E. coli contamination

A Victorian soft cheese is being recalled due to E.coli contamination.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission issued a recall of Timboon Dairy Farm Brie Cheese on Wednesday.

“Consumers should not eat this product,” ACCC said.

“Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.”

The cheese was only sold at Timboon Cheesery Farm Gate Store.

The cheesery is located close to Victorian tourist spot, The Twelve Apostles.

It was sold between April 2 and17 this year.

Anyone who purchased the brie is being told to return it to the cheesery for a full cash refund.

Earlier this month another range of popular cheeses were recalled from IGAs and other independent supermarkets due to fears of listeria contamination.
