Tiger Woods has left golf fans in a spin with an eye-catching public display of affection with his new love interest at the PGA Championship in Missouri.

Footage captured the 14-time major winner being planted with a big kiss on the lips after his round at the year’s final major.

Woods was walking back towards the clubhouse at the Bellerive Country Club when he greeted his girlfriend Erica Herman with a passionate kiss.

The loving embrace between the pair took plenty of observers by surprise on social media, with many unaware he had a new girlfriend at all.

The tap on the backside from Woods’ girlfriend also didn’t go unnoticed from eagle-eyed viewers.

Herman is reportedly the general manager at Woods’ restaurant in Florida, with the pair rumoured to have been dating since October.

Curiously, the pair’s blossoming relationship has coincided with some of Woods’ best golf in recent memory.

The American came up just short of claiming his 15th major title after compatriot Brooks Koepka held on for a two-stroke win at the PGA Championship.

Woods finished in style with a birdie on the last for a 64 to match the day’s best round with Spain’s Rafa Cabrera Bello and Englishman Tyrrell Haton.

He then signed off on the tournament in style after a classy gesture for Koepka – who clinched the third major trophy of his career.

Woods was waiting for his fellow American return to the clubhouse – enthusiastically congratulating him before he went in to sign his scorecard.

The victory was his third major championship title and puts the big-hitting American on a list with some of golf’s greats.

Koepka joins Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods as the only players to win the US Open and PGA championship in the same season.

The 28-year-old fired a four-under-par 66 to earn a 16-under total and a two-shot win from 14-time major champion Woods (64), with Australia’s Adam Scott (67) third at 13 under.
