Three teenage girls overdose at Gold Coast home

Three teenage girls were rushed to hospital on Tuesday after a suspected drug overdose on the Gold Coast.

Queensland Ambulance confirmed to Yahoo News Australia that three females in their “early teens” were taken to Gold Coast University hospital at about 7.45am after a suspected overdose.

Police and paramedics had responded to a call to a property on Tradition Place in Coomera after the alarm was raised over the girl’s condition.

It is understood the teens had taken MDMA, Nine News reported.

Two of the girls were admitted in a stable condition, while one was in a serious condition.

All of the teens had improved as of Wednesday morning and one had been discharged, the Gold Coast University Hospital told Yahoo News Australia.
