Jackman and Mara to star in new film
Aussie Hollywood royalty Hugh Jackman is expected to star in new film Collateral Beauty alongside Rooney Mara.
Variety reports PalmStar Media and Likely Story have acquired the rights to the script, with Jackman and Rooney Mara slated to star in the drama.
The story follows a New York advertising executive who experiences a personal tragedy. When his colleagues devise an unconventional plan to break him out of his depression, the plan works but not how anyone predicted.
Alfonso Gomez-Rejon is on board to direct with Michael Sugar and Bard Darros producing along with Allan Loeb, who penned script.
Its not the first time Jackman and Mara will be co-stars. The pair both feature in the upcoming Peter Pan reboot. Jackman plays Blackbeard while Mara is Tiger Lily.
