Man dies after explosion

A man has died in hospital four days after he was badly burnt in an alleged drug lab explosion for the second time in just over a year.

The 33-year-old died from his injuries in Royal Perth Hospital yesterday. His 49-year-old wife is also receiving treatment for serious burns she received in the explosion at their Camillo home.

Neighbours woken by several explosions about 12.20am on Monday hosed down the couple after finding them on fire and screaming in pain outside the burning Excalibur Circle house.

Last night, the woman was listed as serious but stable. The couple were already wearing pressure bandages for burns they received in an alleged drug lab explosion at another property last year.
