Walters free to play season opener

Michael Walters will be free to line up in Friday's AFL season opener against Collingwood after the match review panel gave Fremantle mixed news today.

Walters was charged for misconduct towards West Coast's Brant Colledge in last Thursday's derby practice match but was offered a reprimand if he makes an early guilty plea.

Carlton's Zac Tuohy can accept a similar penalty for striking Western Bulldogs Stewart Crameri in a scratch match.

Hawthorn's Jordan Lewis and Essendon's Jake Carlisle were cleared of offences in their respective pre-season fixtures.
