Leda McNally to head east in search of riches

Five-year-old Leda McNally will be flown to Sydney for the $200,000 Ladyship Mile (1609m) at Menangle on Sunday week.

The mare trialled impressively last weekend and will start in the 2130m MMJ Land Sales Empress Stakes Prelude (1) at Gloucester Park tonight, having completed a metropolitan summer carnival hat-trick by winning the $100,000 Mares Classic (2130m).

Leda McNally was at her best in rating 1:56.7 to win her Pin- jarra trial last Sunday.

Leda McNally is booked on a Tuesday morning flight to Sydney with Im Victorious and Livingontheinterest, who will start in the $750,000 Inter Dominion Championship (3009m) on Sunday week.

Im Victorious' trainer Michael Brennan said he was delighted with the progress of the gelding and stablemate This Time Dylan, who is nominal favourite for the $50,000 MMJ Real Estate RWWA Cup (2536m) tonight.
