Stabbed to death
A man has died as a result of a stabbing during an altercation at a Kalgoorlie home last week.
Kimble Scott James, 32, appeared in the Kalgoorlie Magistrate’s Court yesterday charged with grievous bodily harm. However, the matter was adjourned and the charge could be upgraded after a post mortem examination report is received later this week. Police were called to the property in President Street about 11pm on Friday after a report of a stabbing.
The 35-year-old victim was taken to Kalgoorlie Hospital before being airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
James is due to reappear in court next Monday. Police are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
