New offices up chamber's image

The Esperance Chamber of Commerce and Industry moved into a new office, alongside the Goldfields-Esperance Development Commission last week.

The move into the Dutton Arcade business centre was prompted by the GEDC having to vacate its previous offices at the Esperance Ports Sea and Land administration building after its lease expired.

ECCI chief executive Grant Shipp said the new office would provide more than double the space it previously had and a more professional image for the chamber.

He thanked chamber member Brett Thorp for helping to provide accommodation for the ECCI at its previous office in the Esperance Business Centre.

“His generosity is much appreciated,” Mr Shipp said.

He also thanked the chamber’s sponsors, particularly its platinum sponsor Cliffs Natural Resources, for making the upgrade to larger offices possible.
