F *remantle * model *Chloe Wheatcroft *has experienced a career-defining moment by making her debut at Paris Fashion Week.

But the willowy Vivien's beauty did not just walk for any old label - she was booked exclusively to stomp the catwalk for major French fashion house Celine.

Each season, a select number of the world's top designers choose a few models for an exclusive booking, meaning they cannot appear in any other shows in that city.

The prestige of this exclusivity is a holy grail for many models on the international circuit and for Wheatcroft it represents a huge coup.

The 24-year-old was flown to London to meet with the Celine team to secure the job and was put on a plane bound for Paris the following day.

She walked in the showcase on Sunday night.

It's the latest achievement for Wheatcroft, who appeared in shows for New York Fashion Week last month and was named by Grazia UK as one of the models to follow on social media ahead of the Paris show.

She has worked in Milan for Alexander McQueen and secured projects in New Zealand with labels Karen Walker, Kate Sylvester and Lonely Hearts.

Later this month, Wheatcroft will compete for a title a little closer to home - she is up for runway model of the year at

the *WA * Fashion Awards on March 30.

The stunner got into modelling by chance at 19 when she was spotted on *King Street *by Vivien's head *Christine Fox *.

Fox is the woman who is credited with putting local supermodels *Nicole Trunfio *and *Gemma Ward *on the map.

While many faces get their starts earlier in their teens, Wheatcroft previously told _AAA _ her late entry into the fashion scene had its benefits.

"There are a lot of girls who are 15 or 16 in Milan but the thing you have over them is that you have experience and a worldly look," she said.

"(Being older) you can relate to people better, you know what the client is after and you can probably see the business aspect a bit more clearly."
