Tom Cruise flies to NY to see Suri
Tom Cruise has reunited with his daughter Suri for the first time since his split from Katie Holmes.
The Top Gun star reached a divorce settlement with Holmes last Monday, just two weeks after Holmes filed papers to end their five-year marriage.
The couple's six-year-old child has spent the past several days with Holmes in New York as Cruise completed filming his latest film Oblivion in California, but, on Tuesday, the actor jetted to Manhattan to spend some quality time with Suri and he was photographed scooping up his little girl while walking into his Big Apple hotel.
The pair was last pictured together almost exactly one month ago on his film set in Iceland on June 16 when they went for sushi in Reykjavik.
Cruise has reportedly been communicating with his daughter via video chat over the past few weeks.
"Katie wants to make sure the visits are in the context of him being a parent figure," a source told the site of the divorce settlement and custody arrangement the former couple agreed on.
"[Tom] adores Suri, but now he's afraid he won't be able to have a close relationship with her."
